New York City
Each clip shown in this film was shot
in New York City. I chose to create a
quick edit with these clips and a song
created by Stephen Schwartz called
Bullet Train. I thought some of these
visuals would create a good mashup
for the some of the city's important
landmarks.
Somebody That I Used to Know
This experimental film featuring the
remix "Somebody That I Used to
Know" by Goyte was shot randomly
one night after drawing inspiration
from a similar video by Jeydon Wale.
I do not own the video idea, but I just
thought it would be a great thing to try
with the fast cuts and strobe light effect!
Without You
This music video featuring Mikey P's
"Without You" was shot on a few
different days in the summer of 2012.
It took about 2 months to plan and
organize the storyline, but I thought
it was a great first music video and
I was proud that some visuals came
out better than I expected!
This is the first film created with Mikey P
and D Kidd from Unique Rekords. It was
one of those days where I just grabbed the
camera and shot whatever I could. It was
a lot of fun editing a documentary-like
film, although I'm sure I could have made
it shorter.
Stay Fishin'
This second music video featuring "Stay Fishin'"
by Mikey P and D Kidd was shot at Navy Pier,
Chicago. It was hard to shoot with the high gusts
of wind that day, but it was fun filming and still
being able to see Chitown with the guys, although
David left his phone in the taxi on the way back!
Love Is Here
This film shot in Canada at Allen's Crow
Lake Lodge is one of my favorites. I had
a lot of fun filming different locations and
I had time to mess with my camera so I
really learned a lot about different angles
and lighting. When I got home to edit, every
single clip looked better than I remembered,
it really was a great trip!
Wide Awake
This film I created for a media class featuring
Katy Perry's "Wide Awake." I aimed for
something visually interesting and tried to
keep a theme between each clip. I combined
this piece with things I really enjoy like nature,
dance, animals, and included the people who
play a big part in my life.
Unique Rekords in Chicago
This film was created for an update
for Unique Rekords and to keep
the suscribers and fans up to date
with a random video of Mikey P,
D Kidd, and Schramm in Chitown.
I Gotta Shovel
This comical film I created for the
Schaumburg Film Fest in 2011.
It was hard to find music rights, but it
turned out fairly well for the filming,
time frame, and music rights I had to work
with.
